How does invoicing & payment work?
Once you’ve subscribed, we'll send an invoice with our bank details included. Please note that work can't begin until this initial payment has been received. After that, you'll receive invoices on a monthly basis from the date of your first payment. All invoices are payable within 7 days. If a payment is missed, work will be paused until it's been received.
How does onboarding work?
Once we’ve received the first payment, we’ll quickly set-up your personal Trello board, typically within a couple of hours. You’ll receive an email invite to the board which will contain instructions on how to manage requests: everything from request submission and feedback, to task prioritisation and final approvals.
Before starting work, we will ensure we have an understanding of you, your business and your design needs. We will arrange a quick onboarding call to say hi, and to check you’re clear on the design process, how your Trello board works and to answer any other questions you may have.

Is anything not included in the standard subscription plan?
The Standard Plan covers most everyday design needs. However, for larger or more complex requests, we may need to discuss a bespoke plan or staggered project delivery timeline (see ‘Larger Requests’ FAQ).
Services not included in the Standard Plan include: website development, motion graphics, film editing, full x-channel campaign production, illustration & 3D modelling.

How do I request designs and give feedback?
Design Mango offers plenty of flexibility in how you submit briefs via Trello (although, as a general rule of thumb, the clearer your brief, the faster and stronger the output will be). Clients typically share briefs as Word or PDF attachments, Google Docs, wireframes, or even a quick Loom video. Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game!
All feedback throughout the design process is handled through your Trello board. That said, if anything needs clarifying or a piece of feedback is easier to talk through, we're happy to jump on a call to align.

How fast will I receive my designs?
On average, most requests are completed in just two days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer. We will always try to be as clear as possible upfront on when a task is going to require more time, and what we anticipate the turnaround will be.
Is there a limit to how many requests I can make?
Once subscribed, there are no limits to the number of requests you can make; however, all requests are handled one at a time. So, if you ask for something more complex or require multiple rounds of amends on one task, this will impact the total number of requests you can make that month as we are not able to move onto something new until the previous one has been approved and completed.

What if I don’t like the work?
No problem! We'll continue to revise the design until you're 100% satisfied.
How do you handle larger requests?
For larger design needs, e.g. full-scale website or mobile app designs, we will break down the request into smaller, bitesize tasks which will allow us to deliver a steady stream of work every 48hrs. As per standard requests, we will work on each task one at a time and once each is approved, we will move onto the next until the project has been fully delivered.

How is Design Mango different from AI solutions?
Design Mango is entirely powered by humans. Real people handle your briefs, respond to your feedback and take care of every design decision. That means you get more than just deliverables, you get years of brand and communications expertise too. So the work doesn’t just look great, it works hard for your business too.
What programmes do you design in?
Most requests are designed using Figma. But we also use the whole Adobe suite to complement the tasks.
How does Webflow development work?
Webflow development is treated as a standard design request. Design Mango will build and then transfer the completed Webflow site to your account, so you own it outright and no further subscription is required.
Can I use Design Mango for just a month?
Absolutely! Whether you need Design Mango for a month or a year, the choice is yours. Just pause your subscription and you’ll only pay for the month you’re in. Then, once you have more design needs, it’s easy to un-pause and pick-up where you left off.
